You would probably want to insert the weekly pages in front of the corresponding week in the daily planner.

You could draw up the weekly pages yourself or rip them out of another planner.

The drawbacks are that you still have to do some extra work & it might cost a little more if you decide to buy 2 planners & rip one up.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried this with a Moleskine daily & a Moleskine week + notes???Team Brindlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11617273530412639059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-53198041400737312522011-12-15T23:05:24.184+00:002011-12-15T23:05:24.184+00:00Here's a lady who wanted the same thing & ...Here's a lady who wanted the same thing & hacked a Moleskine notebook (w/pics): http://corriehaffly.wordpress.com/2007/03/16/my-new-organizer/

...but then switched to a Rollabind/Circa system when drawing the lines took too much time.

I had the same problem when I was using a series of DIY planners in 2010. I got tired of printing out & inserting monthly calendars & writing the date in daily, so I switched to a pre-printed planner.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a really cheap, thin weekly planner & pairing it with a blank notebook of the same dimensions. That way I can have a calendar for appointments & enough room (in the notebook) for extensive daily notes as well. I would insert both in a faux leather cover that I already have.

This set up might be good for those who need a weekly planner but also need room to write, say, meeting/work/class notes... and want to keep everything together.

I think the reason they don't make planners with weekly & daily formats is the size/weight issue. But if the manufacturer kept the pg count down to the absolute minimum, & the cover thin, they could do it. The Moleskine daily has a bunch of pages that aren't absolutely necessary.Team Brindlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11617273530412639059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-49064755143351577742011-12-15T22:05:10.100+00:002011-12-15T22:05:10.100+00:00I've done a Filofax version of this planner as...I've done a Filofax version of this planner as an A4 page, print it out double sided, cut it in half and you have A5 page ready to punch.

It is here:
http://www.philofaxy.com/files/a5ringadate.pdf

SteveSteve Mortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08062727836545335187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-71278684595030679252011-12-15T08:56:18.145+00:002011-12-15T08:56:18.145+00:00I suppose you could glue two of these together (co...I suppose you could glue two of these together (cover to cover) to create a planner for a year! But it might be a little bulky I suppose.

It would be an interesting idea to try out as a Filofax template page.Steve Mortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08062727836545335187noreply@blogger.com
