When it's already a mess I feel free to let it grow organically.Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03550291806241735598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-59884698394157587092014-05-08T21:10:49.194+01:002014-05-08T21:10:49.194+01:00mstraat I let my kids write and draw in my Bullet ...mstraat I let my kids write and draw in my Bullet Journal notebook, I love seeing their stuff in my book! I do outline the pages with a highlighter - just to give a bit of color - but that's it. I have a box of washi tape but it's too much trouble. Plus I tend to write on every square inch of my page. And sometimes I'm neat; sometimes I'm not. Sometimes I write on the lines and most of the time I don't. I like the messy look. To me that means it's used and loved. When it's too neat it makes me nervous.pattygardner.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08465166654988101342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-77986988207940421292014-05-06T17:14:07.467+01:002014-05-06T17:14:07.467+01:00I am meticulously neat in my bullet journal. My bullet journal is a Rhodia reverse book, which is spiral bound, so if I mess up a page too much, I rip it out and start a new one. I don't archive my planners or my bullet journals because there is nothing in there I need to keep. Not at this point anyway. :) Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11890795820706103572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-73558466595906687012014-05-02T23:53:20.363+01:002014-05-02T23:53:20.363+01:00I write every entry in my calendar, address book, ...I write every entry in my calendar, address book, or project planning page in block capitals. My favorite pen is a medium blue Write Brothers ball point, but I use black in a pinch. A red pen draws a line two separate events on the same day.

If I want to make an erasure on my calendar, I do not cross-out or White-Out. I cut strips of paper about the same color as the calendar page, and I paste them down. On addresses pages, I snip out sections of spare address pages and paste them down.

When planning projects, I use the Project Outline pages of my planner. I use washi tape arrows to reach from "this" to "that" hour all day. It is mostly one color (red, so less boring) just because I use the pen in the pen loop most of the time. Some days I watch grandsons and the kindergartner prints a list of things he wants to do. Those pages are the messiest and also my favorites!mstraathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15451250623476899317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-38636762181994556242014-05-02T12:32:45.936+01:002014-05-02T12:32:45.936+01:00My planner is probably the neatest book that I kee...My planner is probably the neatest book that I keep. I tend to color code days - add some washi tape for brightening it up - and even add some stickers. Then life happens :). I noticed I have developed a habit of using the same pen throughout a year --no substitutions allowed. Don't know why that happened, but it can be frustrating at times as everybody wants to use my pen instead of the hundred in the can. Since using DIYfish inserts I have been decorating, a sticker, a stamp, a piece of washi--nothing big or fancy, just a small piece of color. I find it tedious most of the time, but once in a while it can be therapudic. The black and white sterile environment was getting to me. I also ad a quote to everyday. I do write nice when I can, but scratching out, arrows, smeared pencil from uncertain events, writing fast and scribbly--well that's real life.Cassandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16884473950726909345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-47045845568464769712014-05-02T10:05:35.941+01:002014-05-02T10:05:35.941+01:00Like Christine, relatively tidy handwriting, and a...Like Christine, relatively tidy handwriting, and a Will Do list using Bullet Journalling, but I need space for extra information. nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03781115380433579451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-54102779122053832952014-05-02T06:11:14.726+01:002014-05-02T06:11:14.726+01:00Tidy handwriting but chaotic page use.
