I have a home management binder that keeps all family related stuff (medical, personal, and school related stuff). I keep the general school stuff like the school code of conduct, my kids' classroom rules and teacher contact info. I have a smaller folder with 4 transparent pages with pockets. These are tabbed for my 2 kids. They each have their weekly class newsletter that gives an overview of what's going on for the week and spelling/vocabulary words to learn. The also have a pocket for learning tips /homework tools. This makes it easier for them to get the things they need while completing their homework. On the inside cover of this folder I tape a copy of the school cafeteria menu. This makes our nightly "take or buy "discussions easier. I found the folder with inserts at the dollar store. It is made of a nice plastic material. This has worked for my family for the past 2 years.doriselhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01796209081947854415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-80205971745924969482012-08-24T16:15:11.906+01:002012-08-24T16:15:11.906+01:00Thanks! If I remember correctly, they stayed mainly flat but not completely. The larger ones do lie flat.Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03550291806241735598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-84172727161675757862012-08-21T21:13:22.707+01:002012-08-21T21:13:22.707+01:00Not on topic, but does anyone have experience with...Not on topic, but does anyone have experience with Paperblanks planners to know whether they will lay flat?mstraathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07750504911576278453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5763264385856038915.post-17816998551940553002012-08-21T10:48:39.108+01:002012-08-21T10:48:39.108+01:00There are! I'm ...I'm starting grad school next Monday. I'm going to use the FC 2ppd to record all the assignments, due dates, etc. and any details I need (like what needs to be part of the assignment). I did this all through college - it's so much easier than looking at a syllabus!! My classes are all online, so I probably won't have any other support material in paper form. I will probably write down some things in my Filofax though - it's so much easier to have things on paper, as opposed to flipping back and forth between documents on a 13.3" laptop screen! For this, I have a section in my Filofax set up. I'm not sure how much I'll need to use it yet though.Hannah C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12584789667258557028noreply@blogger.com
