2013 Moleskine planners, wow!!!!

I just found the new Moleskine catalog with the 2013 planners!  Woo hoo!!

http://www.chroniclebooks.com/landing-pages/catalogs/moleskine/index.html

There are some seriously exciting things in there!

I have already pre-ordered from Amazon some of the 2013 Star Wars planners (!!!) and the Passions Family diary.  I'm also very pleased to see there are finally colored planners in the large size!

One thing that did upset me a lot though is I see the 2-year planner with vertical months (with a line per day) is back in the 2013 planners. This means they have done away with my beloved monthly grid calendars. This might be a dealbreaker for me. I absolutely must see my months as grids. I will get the monthly notebook to go along with my planner (maybe this is what they have in mind to sell more planners) but it won't be the same as having the months in my daily book.

Some other things I found in the new catalog that look cool are the postal notebooks and cards!

What looks exciting to you in the upcoming new Moleskine lineup?

  1. Woah, very cool! I hope the Peanuts daily planner and the book journal that I picked up today are as cool as the 2013 catalogue. :)

I noticed they have a planner which is 4 pages per week - a 2 page weekly overview and then 2 pages for tasks etc. That one is rather intriguing to me.

However, I can't get too involved in Moleskine, as I've invested in Filofax...hmm....

  2. very nice! I am starting to plan summer vacation and it is tempting to try the city planner notebook from moleskine! As bluebonnetreads said I also have been investing in filofaxes lately and oh my, those guilt pleasures! :) I may have to try both at the same time!

  3. bluebonnetreads, I have a guest post from Mstraat that I will post in the next couple of days on the very planner you mention! I've been really curious about that one too so I'm really grateful she's done a post for us about it!

  5. Those new colors are really amazing!
Surprised to see the iPhone-cover continued. How does one phone with a notebook to his ear ...????

Also like the Lego planner. Wouldn't buy it, but I think it's an amazing idea.

But I absolutely love and surely will buy: the postal notebooks! That is phantastic! Beautiful colors and lovely design! And - hopefully - the best Moleskine paper quality. Winner!

  7. After spending more than an hour looking through the catalog, I'm now drooling: I had this sudden fantasy of owning one of those spinner display racks to store all my filled Moleskine journals and sketchbooks. ;-) Laurie, you could get one for all your planners!

I love the postal notebooks and the Passion Life & Culture Planner. Wish they'd come out with pocket size planners in colors! Maybe in 2014...?
